In 1971, after earning a business degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Development from the UW at Madison, James Kassner started his own construction company. James has been actively involved in the home building industry ever since and over the last thirty years, he has established a reputation as a premier custom home builder.

Since he is "hands on" individual who likes the physical aspects of home construction, Jim spent the first fifteen years in business working with his crews to fine-tune his style of home building. As his company grew, he took on more of an expediting role. Jim now splits his time between his multiple job sites, coordinating the entire building process on each home from the ground up.

Thirty years and over 400 homes later, Jim has perfected his own construction process which ensures proper attention is paid to the details important to each of his customers.

Jim has volunteered a great deal of his time to the betterment of the home-building industry and the community by taking active roles in home-building associations at the local, state and national levels.
